Non-profit organization, DEPCOM Solar for Christ, helps local church save $1 Million in energy costs

Scottsdale, AZ– December 22, 2017-

DEPCOM’s non-profit organization, DEPCOM Solar for Christ, completed installing its first church solar carport today, helping local Scottsdale area church, McDowell Mountain Church, save more than $1 million in energy costs over the next 20 years.

Founded in 2017, the organization’s mission is to help churches across the nation receive DEPCOM’s donated & refurbished solar panels, enabling churches to reduce facility overheads and channel those savings back to the deserving communities they serve.

More than 564 panels were used in this system and will produce on average nearly 300,000-kilowatt hours (KWh) annually.
