SCOTTSDALE, AZ – March 9, 2018 –

DEPCOM Power, Inc. (DEPCOM) announced today it has been selected by Avangrid Renewables, a subsidiary of AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE: AGR) to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the Wy’East solar project.

Located in Sherman County, construction of the 10 megawatt (MW) solar plant will commence in April and is expected to be complete in Fall 2018, generating clean energy to Oregon customers.

“We are proud to support Oregon’s advanced, clean energy program and deliver an efficient, utility-scale solar plant for Avangrid Renewables,” said Josh Barkley, DEPCOM Power Project Manager.

In keeping with DEPCOM’s hiring values, the project aims to tap the county’s local construction talent and veterans, sourcing 90% of construction labor locally and at least 30% U.S. veterans.

As part of the project’s community investment goals, a portion of the project proceeds will be donated to organizations across Sherman County, supporting initiatives centered around the impoverished, veterans, education and solar.
